About Astronomy Guide

Astronomy Guide is an independent resource for backyard astronomers, from complete beginners learning the constellations to more experienced observers planning an eclipse trip or upgrading to a smart telescope. We write plain-language guides on stargazing, astrophotography, and dark-sky travel, and we cover gear on its actual merits rather than just listing specs.

Our goal is to answer the questions people actually have looking up at the night sky — what’s that bright object, why can’t I see anything from my backyard, what do I actually need to get started — with accurate, current information.
